Lavina Chinuri-Goruli Mtsvane 2023

Lavina Winery was founded by Bakar Narsia in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. He uses traditional Georgian methods of winemaking, like fermenting the wine in qvevri. The winery owns 2 hectares of vineyards in both Imereti (western Georgia) and the Kartli region. The label tells the love story of winemaker Bakar Narsia and his wife.

Macerated and fermented on the skins for a whole month in traditional ‘Qvevri’ clay amphorae, this amber wine is quite aromatic with floral and ripe quince notes. It has a lovely tannic grip that makes it very gastronomic, with a very refreshing, long long finish.
