In the hills of Farra di Soligo, the La Farra estate can be found. The grapes in this frizzante are higher in elevation and harvested by hand in late september. Family owned for multiple generations, the La Farra estate has developed their own production system that honors traditional methods and also engages in environmentally friendly methods. The grapes are then pressed and fermented for roughly 2-weeks, then stored in stainless steel tanks. To get the perfect level of bubble in every bottle the La Farra estate uses the Charmat methods. This method creates a standard non-sparkling wine and then adds sugars and local yeasts to encourage a second fermentation in sealed steel tanks. Unlike other prosecco making processes that mirrors champagne, this process lets the natural flavors of the wine become bolder, highlighting its quality as a prosecco.

On the nose it offers aromas of sweet fruits and fresh salinity. On the palate it offers flavors of ripe green fruits giving it a refreshing tang and dry finish. Enjoyed chilled as an apertif or in a Bellini!
