La Dame de Onze Heures 2019 Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

This magnificent cuvée of Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, baptized "The Lady of the Eleventh Hour", comes from the name of a small liliaceae whose flower opens every day... at eleven o'clock. This small plot is maintained like a garden, grown organically, without weedkillers or chemicals, moreover this lady would not like it! Beatrice and Vincent aim to do most of their work in the vineyard, so that little intervention is needed in the cellar. A mix of large barrels and clay amphorae are used to mature the wines. Dark cherries, black plums, bramble, cedar and tobacco leaf, with firm yet smooth tannins make this wine one to enjoy right now or to mature for a few more years.
