Kamara Blooming Mountain Pet Nat 2022

Kamara Pure is a family-run winery in Oraiokastro, near Thessaloniki, where Dimitris and Eleftheria Kamara produce expressive natural wines from organically farmed vineyards. Working according to permaculture principles, the estate focuses on biodiversity, healthy soils and minimal environmental impact. The vineyards are planted on clay-loam soils at around 140 metres above sea level, where the Mediterranean climate and cooling northern influences help preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. The wines are certified organic and suitable for vegans.

Kamara Blooming Mountain Pét-Nat 2022 is a naturally sparkling orange wine made from 80% Muscat and 20% Moschofilero. White Muscat undergoes several days of skin contact before spontaneous fermentation and ageing in small amphorae for several months. The following year, fermented Moschofilero must is added in bottle to create the natural sparkle using the méthode ancestrale. Bottled by hand without disgorgement, it displays vibrant aromas of citrus, orange peel, jasmine, rose petals and fresh herbs, with lively acidity and a gently yeasty texture. It pairs beautifully with mezze, seafood, spicy Asian cuisine and soft cheeses.
