JM Gobillard ROSE 1/2 NV Prestige
JM Gobillard et Fils is a family owned Champagne house founded in 1933 in Hautvillers, which lies in the Vallée de la Marne sub-region of Champagne. Today, the estate remains independent and is run by successive generations focused on traditional craftsmanship and consistency. The vineyards are largely classified Premier Cru and lie across Hautvillers and neighbouring villages, rooted in chalk and limestone soils that promote finesse and freshness. The estate follows careful, quality-driven vineyard management.
The Rosé Vintage Champagne is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir from old, low-yielding chalk hillside sites. After traditional pressing and base wine fermentation, the cuvée undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle and is aged on lees for a minimum of four years before disgorgement, adding complexity and depth. It shows delicate salmon colour with fine bubbles and aromas of raspberry, strawberry and citrus. On the palate it is fresh and elegant, pairing beautifully with smoked salmon, shellfish, fruit tarts and creamy cheeses, or enjoyed on its own to celebrate special moments.
