Henri Chauvet Vie Ordinaire Pinot Noir 2022
From plots of basalt and blue marl, the grapes see about 2 weeks wholebunch maceration in stainless steel. It’s then aged for 9 months in a mix of old 228lt barrels, and new 500lt ones. This has some of that classic Pinot spice and vegetal notes, with soft tannins and some light fruit. This has great potential to age.
