Guy Farge Cornas Harmonie 2019

"There's a touch of cured salami and leather on the nose of this meaty wine. Herbal and savoury. Medium- to full-bodied style, very dry and intense. I love the cut and focus on the palate, an incisive style of Cornas which is very authentic. I'd drink this young, but it will develop more interest into the medium-term. No excessive ripeness here. Good value. 30-year-old vines, whole-bunch fermented, matured in 1- to 5-year-old 400L barrels." Matt Walls, Decanter
