As the dragon adorns the top of the city, Gulden Draak has been among the world’s top beers for years. It is a dark tripel, which in itself makes it an exceptional beer, but its complex flavor with notes of caramel, roasted malt and coffee makes it unique.

A wine yeast is used for secondary fermentation, which determines the incomparable taste and ensures the long-term evolution of taste (= living beer). The older the beer gets, the more aroma it acquires and the fuller the flavor and color become.
