Giovanni Canonica Barolo 'Del Comune Di Grinzane Cavour' 2019

In the early 2010's, Giovanni inherited a small amount of vines in the sector of Grinzane Cavour. The vines that produce the Barolo here are over 50 years old and contain a high percentage of the rare “rose” clone of Nebbiolo. The first vintage produced was 2012. Destemming, for 30-40 days using only indigenous yeasts, vertical hand press, then into concrete and Slavonian oak for aging.
