Georg Schmelzer Gruner Veltliner 2023

Georg Schmeltzer is a 4th generation winemaker in Gols, a commune near the Hungarian border in Neusiedlersee. His experience, combined with a natural wine philosophy, makes for tasty and fun wines; and yet there’s a structure and purity that hints at the lineage he’s inherited from his family. Open, vibrant and characterized by deep fruit and fine spice. With a decent acid core, a dense and warm texture, lots of power and little alcohol. Has temperament, finesse, drinkability and an elegant and juicy finish.
