Foxglove Zinfandel 2020

The Varner brothers Foxglove range is where they take all their expertise and experience and hone it towards a more affordable, everyday style of wine. Their Zinfandel is characterful and fresh, showcasing the terroir of Paso-Robles through its ripe bramble fruit and spice. It maintains it's approachability through soft tannins and subtle acidity, while it's floral and savoury notes add complexity. During the summer this makes a perfect BBQ wine, served slightly chilled with burgers and sausages. As the winter rolls in, it stands equally as well next to a brisket, stroganoff or beef stew.
