Jean Foillard Beaujolais Nouveau 2025
Jean Foillard’s Beaujolais Nouveau 2025 comes from his family estate in Morgon, particularly on the Côte du Py, where granite and schist soils lend mineral intensity. Jean has farmed organically for decades and follows natural, low intervention methods.
The wine is made by around ten days of whole cluster carbonic maceration, using native yeasts and with very low sulphur, no chaptalisation, no filtration. Aromas of red berries, raspberry and wild strawberry mingle with a floral lift, while the palate is juicy, light bodied and lively, showing bright acidity and a clean, natural finish.
