Felipe Staiti Honor Blend 2019

The Felipe Staiti Honor Blend 2019 is a collaborative creation between Argentine musician Felipe Staiti, founder and namesake of the winery and acclaimed winemaker Marcelo Pelleriti. Located in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, at 1,050 metres altitude, the estate cultivates high-density trellised vineyards. While not certified organic, sustainable viticulture practices are employed to maintain soil health and express the unique terroir. The blend combines 65% Malbec,15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, carefully sourced from the best plots to reflect each vineyard's character.

Each parcel is co-fermented in small stainless steel tanks then aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, 40% new and 60% second-use, under Marcelo Pelleriti’s guidance. The wine exhibits aromas of ripe blackberries, plums, violets, and notes of dark chocolate, tobacco, and spice. On the palate it is full-bodied with velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish. Vegan-friendly, it pairs beautifully with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and aged cheeses, showcasing both Staiti’s vision and Pelleriti’s winemaking expertise.
