Étienne Calsac Rose de Craie Premier Cru Rosé Champagne

Étienne Calsac’s Rosé de Craie is a rosé cuvée produced mainly from Chardonnay (about 92%) with 8% Pinot Noir vinified as red, sourced from chalk-rich terroirs of the Côte des Blancs and Grande Vallée de la Marne. Fermentation is spontaneous, part in oak, part in stainless steel, with an Extra Brut dosage and focused on preserving purity and minerality.

The wine displays pale salmon colour, aromas of wild red berries, grapefruit peel, orange blossom and damp chalk, with ultra-fine bubbles, vibrant acidity and a long, saline–mineral finish that evokes the “craie” (chalk) of its terroir. A refined and gastronomic rosé.
