Viticulture in Brézème, on the primarily limestone marl south facing steep hillsides, dates back to Roman times. Éric Texier has been instrumental in reviving the vineyards. Declassified to Vin de France due to no additions of SO2 at all, this 100% organic Roussanne is truly a "Cuvée d’Exception". Pure and of great intensity, very ripe fruits balanced by a saline minerality, lovely full and rounded texture and a backbone of acidity that would make it a great candidate for ageing.
