From the well known name of Elvio Cogno this italian nebbiolo is a must try for any wine enthusiast. For four generations the Cogno family has utilized over 11 hectares of land to produce the best wines possible. Following organic farming techniques each plot of wines is well looking after and harvested at the most optimal time. After the wine is harvested and pressed its aged in oak barrels for 12 months, resulting in a soft and well-rounded taste with subtle hints of tobacco and spice.

Deep ruby red in colour this nebbiolo offers aromas of delicate florals, robust red fruits and soft spice. On the palate its a well balanced wine with srtriking tannins and acidity leaving each sip with a long finish. A beautiful full bodied wine that pairs perfectly with hearty meat forwadr dishes, strong cheese and rich desserts.
