El Perdiguero Barrica 2020

This red wine has everything a real Crianza from Spain needs to have: It consists of 100% Tempranillo, has been aged for a long time in barrels - a whopping 12 months in barriques - and impresses with its elegance, finesse and power. The glass shows a deep purple red with chimney red reflections. The typical bouquet smells of vanilla, oak barrels, red berries and licorice; on the palate it is balanced, spicy and with a good structure. In the long aftertaste, the barrel notes take over again. Nice wine with strong meat dishes.
