Echo Lynch Bages is part of the historic Château Lynch-Bages estate in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, known for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated wines. The vineyards benefit from gravelly soils over clay and limestone subsoils, typical of the Left Bank, with well-drained terraces that encourage deep root growth. Sustainable viticulture practices are employed, and the wines are vegan-friendly, reflecting the estate’s commitment to responsible and environmentally conscious winemaking. The 2019 vintage experienced ideal growing conditions with moderate temperatures and dry spells, producing concentrated, balanced fruit with fine natural acidity, perfect for a structured Pauillac style.

The 2019 Echo Lynch Bages is the second wine of Château Lynch-Bages, crafted from younger vines and selected parcels not used in the grand vin. It is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot in small quantities. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled vats, followed by 18 months ageing in a mix of new and used French oak barrels. Compared to the first wine, it is more approachable in its youth, with softer tannins and slightly more forward fruit. Aromas of cassis, black cherry, graphite, and subtle cedar lead to a full-bodied palate and a long, persistent finish. Ideal with roast lamb, venison, beef tenderloin and hard cheeses.
