Domaine Tempier Bandol Rouge Cuvée Classique 2023 is a blend led by Mourvèdre, typically around 70-75%, complemented by Grenache, Cinsault and small proportions of Carignan. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts, with careful extraction to preserve balance and aromatic complexity. The wine is aged for approximately 18 to 20 months in large oak foudres, allowing the tannins to soften while maintaining the integrity of the fruit. It displays aromas of blackberry, plum, garrigue herbs, spice and earthy notes, with a palate that is structured yet refined, supported by firm tannins and a long, savoury finish.
