Domaine Simonin Saint Veran 2023

Domaine Jacques Simonin is a family estate in the Mâconnais, southern Burgundy, where the limestone-rich soils and gentle slopes provide ideal conditions for Chardonnay. The domaine follows sustainable practices, respecting biodiversity and soil health. In 2023 warm and dry weather led to excellent ripening, producing wines of freshness, purity and aromatic precision.

The Saint-Véran 2023 was hand-harvested gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel to preserve bright fruit and crisp minerality, with partial maturation on fine lees for added depth. The wine shows lively citrus, green apple and white blossom notes, lifted by a chalky mineral edge. Perfect with seafood, goat’s cheese, roast chicken or fresh vegetable dishes.
