Domaine Rene Favre Syrah de Jonathan

Domaine René Favre et Fils is a family run estate in the Valais region of Switzerland, managed by three generations of the Favre family around the village of Chamoson. The vineyards are situated on steep hillsides above the Rhône River, with gravelly, schist and alluvial soils that provide excellent drainage and express the unique character of Syrah.

The Syrah de Jonathan 2015 is made from 100% Syrah, hand harvested and fermented to highlight varietal purity and regional expression. The wine is aged in barrels to allow integration, developing rich fruit and spice notes over time. It displays ripe dark berries, black pepper, subtle spice and herbal hints, with refined tannins and balanced acidity. Full-bodied and complex, it pairs perfectly with game, roast lamb, hearty stews, and mature cheeses, showcasing the elegance of Valais Syrah.
