Domaine Mouressipe Cacous 2021

Cacous by Alain Allier is a blend of Grenache a Syrah. It is a blend of two different plots, around 40 years old, located in the town of St Come and Maruejols in Gard, west of Nimes. The wine is released as a Vin de France. Vinification and aging are done in vats and without inputs, fermenting with native yeasts. The maceration, although quite long, is very gentle and carried out with very little extraction.

An aromatic and juicy wine, with very fine and smooth tannins. It almost feel silky in the mouth. It combines beautifully the floral and fruity side of Grenache and the spices from the Syrah.
