Domaine Jousset Premier Rendez Vous 2022

Domaine Jousset was founded in 2004 by Lise and Bertrand Jousset and is based in Montlouis-sur-Loire and focuses on Chenin Blanc from organically farmed vineyards. The domaine champions minimal intervention, working with old vines averaging 30–130 years planted on flinty clay and limestone soils. Their sustainable approach and deep respect for the Loire’s terroir create wines of clarity and authenticity.

Premier Rendez Vous 2022 is made entirely from Chenin Blanc, harvested by hand and fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged on its lees in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak for around 12 months adding texture while preserving freshness. Bright citrus, quince and green apple notes mingle with subtle honeyed tones. Its lively acidity pairs beautifully with seafood, goat’s cheese and light poultry dishes.
