Produced by Domaine des Deux Vallées in France’s Loire Valley, Anjou Rouge Clos du Bois comes from a family run estate dedicated to terroir driven wines from sustainably farmed vineyards. The domaine is based in the Anjou appellation, where a temperate Atlantic influenced climate allows slow, balanced ripening while preserving freshness and structure. The vineyards are planted on schist, clay and sandstone rich soils that contribute mineral character and finesse to the wines. p>

Made with 100% Cabernet Franc, fermentation takes place in stainless steel with gentle extraction to preserve fruit purity and freshness. The wine is aged in a combination of tanks and older oak barrels to soften tannins and add subtle complexity without dominating the fruit. Aromas of blackberry, red cherry and blackcurrant combine with notes of violet, spice and light herbal character. The palate is medium bodied and refined with fresh acidity, supple tannins and a savoury mineral finish. It pairs beautifully with roast poultry, grilled meats, charcuterie and mushroom dishes.
