Diamantopetra White Vidiano Assyrtiko 2023 is produced by the Diamantakis family at Diamantakis Winery, a modern, family run estate founded in 2007 on the island of Crete, Greece. The winery champions native Cretan varieties such as Vidiano and Assyrtiko, cultivating vines across varied altitudes in the Psiloritis foothills under cooling Aegean breezes that help preserve acidity and aromatic expression. Vineyards are farmed sustainably with respect for the island’s ancient viticultural heritage.

The 2023 Diamantopetra White Vidiano Assyrtiko (50% Vidiano, 50% Assyrtiko) combines the aromatic complexity of Vidiano with the crisp acidity of Assyrtiko. Each variety is fermented separately in stainless steel before completing fermentation and maturing on fine lees in oak barrels for about three months, adding depth and texture to the blend. The wine shows a pale yellow hue and offers elegant aromas of pineapple, apricot and chamomile, layered with subtle notes of vanilla and nuts.
