Cuevas de Arom is a collaborative project founded by Master of Wine Fernando Mora, Fernando Larasa, and winemaker Mario López. Based in the Campo de Borja DO of Aragón, Spain, the estate focuses on old-vine Garnacha from steep, north-facing slopes at 600–950 metres elevation. The vineyards, planted on pre-Cambrian slate and quartzite soils and are undergoing conversion to organic viticulture.

The 2018 'As Ladieras' Garnacha is produced from 30–60-year-old vines grown on 8.5 hectares of north-facing slopes at 600 metres altitude. The grapes undergo 100% whole-bunch fermentation using indigenous yeasts in open top concrete tanks, with a 35-day maceration period. The wine is aged for 10 months in a combination of concrete eggs and 500-litre oak barrels. It offers aromas of red cherry, wild herbs and a mineral edge, with a balanced, fresh palate. Pairs well with grilled meats, charcuterie, or aged cheeses.
