"Corofin is an artisan family wine company. Our sole ambition is to transmit the voice of the land and the season through crafting small batch wines from pinot noir and chardonnay grapes. Working with growers who farm their land with respect for the biodiversity of its soils and local environment, is essential in revealing the individuality of each place.From a naturally low yielding but high quality vintage, this Pinot Noir is an assemblage from the Wrekin and Settlement vineyards. In 2021, yields were low but the quality was exceptional. Flavors of cherry and strawberry emerge alongside subtle resinous and earthy notes, a touch of spice, and a beautiful floral aroma. The standout feature is the refined quality of the tannins. The wine boasts excellent structure, vibrant energy, and lasting persistence. This Pinot Noir is truly outstanding—simply terrific.
