The Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company was founded in 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark, by Danish sommelier Jacob Kocemba and business partner Bo Sten Hansen with a vision to craft sophisticated non-alcoholic sparkling beverages inspired by Asian tea traditions and Nordic innovation. Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Lyserød is an organic, vegan friendly sparkling tea made from a blend of up to 13 carefully selected organic teas, including Oolong, Silver Needle white tea, black teas and hibiscus, creating a unique light rosé colour and aromatic profile. The teas are sourced from renowned tea growing regions where climate and altitude influence flavour. The company embraces sustainable practices in its ingredient sourcing and production, offering a refined choice for mindful enjoyment.

Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Lyserød is produced by cold brewing each organic tea variety at precise temperatures to extract delicate flavour and aroma, then blending the teas with a small amount of organic grape must and lemon juice before gently carbonating to around 5 bars, yielding fine, Champagne like bubbles. The result is an elegant, dry, light pink sparkling tea with intense aromas of red berries and crisp red apple, layered with complex notes of blackberry and hibiscus balanced by the smoothness of Silver Needle white tea on the palate. It offers a refreshing, comfortably dry sip with a lightly bitter fruity finish. Lyserød pairs exquisitely with light salty dishes, seafood such as oysters and shellfish, sushi, fresh salads and mild cheeses, and can also be enjoyed on its own as a refined aperitif served chilled in a champagne flute.
