Copenhagen Sparkling Tea BLÅ is an organic, vegan friendly non alcoholic sparkling tea from the pioneering Danish producer Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company, founded in 2017 by award winning sommelier Jacob Kocemba and partner Bo Sten Hansen. The brand blends Nordic design with deep respect for Asian tea traditions, creating elegant and complex bubbly teas that have gained worldwide acclaim. BLÅ is crafted from a carefully selected blend of up to 13 organic teas, including white, green, black and herbal varieties, each chosen for aromatic finesse and balanced structure. The teas themselves originate from renowned tea growing regions where altitude, climate and soil impart distinctive character. BLÅ is produced through a meticulous process that starts with individually brewing each tea variety at specific temperatures and durations to extract delicate flavours without bitterness. These brewed teas are then blended, combined with a base of grape must and a dash of lemon juice, and gently carbonated to achieve fine, lively bubbles with a pressure around 5 bars, giving the drink its elegant effervescence. The result is a pale green sparkling tea with floral and citrus notes from jasmine and chamomile, a rounded mouthfeel from white teas, and depth and subtle tannins from Darjeeling First Flush.
