Clos Canarelli Rose 2023

Clos Canarelli Rosé 2023 comes from Clos Canarelli, a highly regarded family-run estate in the Figari appellation on the southern tip of Corsica, France. The domaine has been certified organic since 2002 and biodynamic since 2006, with all vineyard work carried out by hand and without synthetic chemicals. The vines are planted on clay granite soils, shaped by strong sunlight, coastal influence and drying winds, while marked day night temperature differences help preserve freshness and aromatic precision. The wine is produced with minimal intervention and is suitable for vegetarian and vegan consumers.

The 2023 Rosé is a traditional Corsican blend of sciaccarellu, niellucciu and grenache. Grapes are hand harvested and gently pressed before fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. The wine is aged on its fine lees in tank to develop texture while maintaining clarity of fruit. It shows a pale salmon pink colour with subtle copper tones, aromas of red berries, pink fruit and gentle spice, and a lively, elegant palate with refreshing acidity and a clean, saline finish. It pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled vegetables and charcuterie.
