Ciro Picariello is a respected producer in Campania, Italy, established in 2004 in Summonte, near Avellino. The estate spans 15 hectares across Summonte and Montefredane, with vineyards situated at 500–650 metres above sea level. The soils are volcanic-derived clay and sandstone, ideal for growing indigenous varieties like Fiano, Greco, Aglianico, and Falanghina. Committed to organic farming, the winery avoids pesticides and herbicides, focusing on sustainability and minimal intervention. The 'BruEmm' label, named after his children Bruno and Emma, represents a single-vineyard bottling of Falanghina, showcasing the purity and character of the grape.

The Falanghina Bru Emm 2024 is crafted from 100% Falanghina Beneventana grapes grown in calcareous clay soils at 400 metres altitude. After hand-harvesting, the grapes undergo fermentation at 12-13°C for 60 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for five months on its lees with frequent batonnage, followed by two months in bottle before release. It presents a bright straw-yellow colour with aromas of white peach, pineapple, melon, and subtle citrus notes. On the palate it is fresh and savoury with a persistent finish. This wine pairs excellently with seafood, buffalo mozzarella and tomato-based dishes.
