Chateau Puynard Pet Nat 2023

While Puynard is new to the chateau has been around for multiple generations. The new growers have been focused on merlot and cabernet sauvignon; grapes that reflects the flavors of the right bank. In this region the soils hold large deposits of clay and limestone which adds the signature flavor of Bordeaux to every bottle. With a wide range of wines now in production, they have moved to other grapes and will begin bottling their newest white Bordeaux blend soon. This Pet Net is processed in temperature controlled steel vats with a delicate amount of skin contact when pressing, delivering the lovely color seen in every bottle.

On the nose this Pet Nat offers aromas of small red fruits such as raspberries. On the palate this wine is refreshing with a well balanced acidity that allows the fruits to shine through. Serve well chilled.
