Chateau Milhau-Lacugue Les Truffieres 2017

Operating this former possession of the Hospitallers of Saint-Jean since 1994, 3 km from Fontcaude Abbey, Jean Lacugue, a trained oenologist, has one conviction: the importance of terroir in the expression of wines. This area (60 ha today) welcomed the numerous pilgrims from Santiago de Compostela in the Middle Ages.

This wine is beautifully mature, the nose reveals blackberries, macerated red fruits with smoky and spicy nuances. The mouth, all rounded, offers the same generous and warm flavors which permeate a full, spherical and delicious body, prolonged by a finish of eau-de-vie. Solar and charming, this red already gives a lot of pleasure.
