Chateau Hauterive Le Haut Finistere 2018 MAGNUM

In the heart of the Corbières, on the prestigious terroir of Boutenac four centuries of winemaker tradition revived by current techniques of viticulture and winemaking, this is the bet held today by Fabienne and Jean-Marc Reulet. The Hauterive Sector of the 90ha of vineyards - Gasparets - is the cradle of the great wines of the region. Here the old vines of Carignan and grenache offer all the expression of the terroir and the grape variety on soils of molasses characterized by a carpet of pebbles. At the foot of this hill alluvial soils are reserved for the production of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache grape varieties. Dark cherry colour, aromas of red fruits and spices, peppery notes. The tannin are present but fine, the structure is harmonious. This wine goes very well with regional dishes such as cassoulet, sheep cheeses (here Villetritouls cheese) but also a grill of fish marinated in olive oil, garlic and herbs from Corbières. 150cl bottle
