Chateau du Glana Saint Julien 2017 Half Bottle
Château du Glana is a family-owned estate in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux, with vineyards situated on gravelly, well-drained soils that favour Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The estate follows traditional viticulture methods and carefully maintains the balance of the terroir.
The 2017 Saint-Julien is a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 47% Merlot, hand-harvested and fermented to preserve varietal character. The wine is aged in French oak barrels, combining new and used wood, for approximately 12–14 months to integrate tannins and develop complexity. On the palate it shows dark berry fruit, cassis, hints of cedar and spice, with structured tannins and balanced acidity. Pairs beautifully with roast beef, lamb, game, and mature cheeses, highlighting the elegance of Saint-Julien wines.
