Chateau des Antonins Rouge 2020
Château des Antonins is a historic estate in Bordeaux, originally founded around a 13th century abbey once occupied by monks. The vineyard lies on the left bank of the Garonne, south of the Graves region, planted on clay gravel soils that give good drainage and ripe fruit concentration. The estate today is managed under sustainable viticulture and holds a “Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE)” certification indicating environmentally aware practices.
The 2020 Château des Antonins Bordeaux Supérieur 2020 is a red blend, composed of approximately 50?% Merlot and 50?% Cabernet Sauvignon. Grapes are destemmed, fermented in stainless steel vats over 20–30?days. The result is deep ruby with aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant and spice, a supple, rounded palate with smooth tannins and bright acidity. It pairs delightfully with roast beef, poultry, lasagne or a cheese board.
