Chateau Bellevue Figeac St Emilion Grand Cru 2022

Château Bellevue-Figeac is a small, family-owned Saint-Émilion Grand Cru estate on the Right Bank, with vineyards planted on classic clay limestone soils and an average vine age around forty years. The site lies close to the limestone plateau and benefits from excellent aspect and drainage. Vineyards are managed with sustainable methods and several parcels follow organic practices.

The 2022 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is produced predominantly from Merlot. Grapes are hand-harvested, fermented with careful extraction and matured in French oak for around twelve months to build complexity while preserving fruit purity. The wine shows black cherry, blackberry, cedar and gentle vanilla, supple yet firm tannins and a mineral finish. Serve with roast lamb, beef, game or mature cheeses.
