Bott Frigyes Super Granum White 2023

Bott Frigyes Super Granum 2023 comes from Bott Frigyes, a family run winery in the Garam Valley of southern Slovakia. The estate tends about about ten hectares of vineyard on volcanic, clay rich, limestone infused soils on the south facing slopes of the Muzsla Hills, giving wines vibrant acidity and minerality. The wine is vegan-friendly and produced with minimal intervention to showcase its unique Garam Valley terroir.

The 2023 Super Granum White is a blend of Pinot Blanc, Hárslevelu and Furmint. Grapes are hand harvested and fermented with native yeasts, followed by lees ageing in stainless steel and large neutral vessels to preserve clarity and fresh fruit character. The wine is medium-bodied with aromatic notes of citrus, orchard fruit and floral spice, enlivened by crisp acidity and a mineral finish. Its balanced profile makes it an excellent match with grilled seafood, creamy risottos, fresh salads or lighter poultry dishes.
