Bota Bota Garnacha 2023

Bota Bota is a Spanish producer focusing on Garnacha sourced from old-vine vineyards in the high-altitude regions of Aragon. The soils are primarily calcareous with sandy topsoil, encouraging drainage and concentration of flavours. Sustainable viticulture is practised, with careful canopy management and minimal intervention in the vineyard, preserving the natural character of the fruit.

The 2023 Garnacha is made from 100% Garnacha, fermented in stainless steel with gentle extraction and minimal sulphur additions. It is then aged briefly in neutral oak to retain vibrancy. Expect aromas of ripe red fruits, floral hints, and subtle spice, with a juicy, medium-bodied palate and soft tannins. Serve with roasted poultry, grilled vegetables, charcuterie, or light tomato-based pasta dishes.
