Il Libertino is a Sangiovese crafted by Atanica from sustainably cultivated vineyards that emphasise soil health and biodiversity. The vines thrive on calcareous and clay soils, ideal for producing aromatic, structured Sangiovese with vibrant acidity. The winery’s approach centres on minimal intervention, ensuring the fruit’s natural clarity and regional expression remain at the forefront.

The 2024 wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged briefly to preserve freshness and purity. It shows bright cherry, red plum and gentle herbal notes with a medium-bodied palate and elegant, finely grained tannins.
