Allram Gruner Veltliner Renner 1OTW 2015

Domaine Allram is a family-owned estate in Austria’s Kamptal wine region, managed by the Haas-Allram family over multiple generations. The Renner vineyard lies on steep, south-facing slopes with loess and gravelly soils over crystalline rock, providing excellent drainage and mineral complexity.

The 2015 Grüner Veltliner Ried Renner 1ÖTW is made from 100% Grüner Veltliner, hand-harvested and fermented with minimal intervention to highlight the vineyard’s character. Aged in stainless steel with partial lees contact, it shows layers of ripe pear, yellow apple and a touch of white pepper. With a creamy texture that's balanced by bright acidity. With time in the bottle, it's gained depth and some nuttiness, while still holding onto freshness. It pairs beautifully with veal, roast pork, grilled fish, and classic Austrian dishes.
