6 Year Old Double Distilled Single Malt from Great Northern Distillery. Bottled at 43% and limited edition.

Great Northern Distillery Double Distilled Single Malt, matured in a first-fill Bourbon cask for 5 years and 11 months, then finished for 3 months in a second-fill ex-Laphroaig cask that previously held Ballykilcavan’s Bambrick’s Brown Ale Islay Cask limited edition.

Nose: Milk chocolate, malt loaf, barmbrack juicy raisins.

Palate: Sweet and fruity, dark chilli chocolate, with earthy kick from the peat, savoury, almost like a mild blue cheese.

Finish: Long, earthy, spicy with chilli chocolate.
