Q Chardonnay comes from two high-altitude sites in Tupungato: Gualtallary at 1,400 metres and El Peral at 1,200 metres. Gualtallary brings calcareous soils of sand, caliche and stone, while El Peral has deeper alluvial soils with gravel and pockets of limestone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eMade from 100% Chardonnay, the grapes are directly pressed and fermented with native yeasts. Half the wine ferments and ages in 500 litre used, untoasted French oak barrels, while the other half is fermented and aged in concrete, with no malolactic fermentation. This combination gives the wine texture without masking its high-altitude character. The 2025 shows fresh pear, white peach and green apple alongside citrus, subtle herbal notes and a gently creamy mid-palate, with bright acidity and a clean, mineral finish.
