Heimann & Fiai is a family-owned winery in Hungary’s Szekszárd region, renowned for its commitment to organic viticulture. The estate spans 23 hectares across the Baranya, Porkoláb, and Iván valleys, cultivating indigenous varieties like Kadarka. The family employs sustainable practices and minimal intervention winemaking to produce wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.

The Heimann & Fiai Szekszárd Kadarka 2022 is a light-bodied red wine that showcases the elegance of the Kadarka grape. Grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with a hands-off approach, including whole-bunch pressing and wild fermentation. The wine offers aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle earthy notes, with bright acidity and soft tannins on the palate. Aged in used oak barrels for five months, it presents a refreshing finish, making it an excellent companion to a variety of dishes.
