Since the 2020 vintage, the blend has been based exclusively on Nebbiolo and Barbera, combining the structure and aromatic complexity of the former with the generous fruit of the latter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe 2023 is made from 50% Nebbiolo and 50% Barbera, with maturation in wooden barrels. Nebbiolo contributes floral aromas, fine tannins and savoury complexity, while Barbera brings juicy red fruit and freshness. Expect ripe cherry and other red berries, accompanied by subtle spice, earthy notes and a mineral edge. The palate is balanced and medium-bodied, with lively acidity, polished tannins and a dry, savoury finish. More approachable in its youth than Gaja’s single-vineyard Barbaresco and Barolo wines, Sito Moresco offers a distinctive expression of the Langhe with the structure to develop in bottle.
