The Altura Máxima vineyard sits at approximately 3,111 metres above sea level in the Andes foothills, where intense sunlight, dramatic day to night temperature variation and extremely dry conditions create wines of concentration and freshness. The vineyard is planted on rocky, sandy and mineral rich alluvial soils with excellent drainage. The estate follows sustainable and low intervention farming practices, and the wine is suitable for vegan consumers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown in the single vineyard Altura Máxima site and harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to preserve aromatic intensity and purity, followed by several months of lees ageing to add texture and complexity without oak influence. The 2018 vintage displays lifted aromas of grapefruit, lime, passion fruit and white flowers with herbal and mineral nuances. The palate is vibrant and precise, combining crisp acidity with layered citrus and tropical fruit flavours and a long saline finish.
