The Beaune “Lalune” parcel lies in the southern part of the appellation near Pommard, set within a sheltered combe surrounded by trees that create a cooler microclimate and slower ripening conditions. Soils are classic clay and limestone, providing structure, minerality and freshness. \n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\nBeaune Lalune Blanc 2021 is made from, hand-harvested Chardonnay grapes that are vinified with a focus on purity and terroir expression. Fermentation begins in temperature controlled stainless steel before the wine is transferred to oak barrels, where it undergoes élevage for approximately 11 months. Approximately 25% new oak is used, with the remainder in older barrels to ensure subtle integration rather than dominance. During this time, the wine remains on its fine lees, enhancing texture, depth and aromatic complexity while maintaining balance. The resulting wine shows notes of citrus, white flowers and almond, with a rounded palate, gentle oak spice and a long, refined finish supported by fresh acidity. Only 2730 bottles were made for this vintage.
