The Pettineo contrada is located on the Iblei Plateau, where traditional alberello (bush-trained) vines grow in sandy, calcareous soils shaped by the Mediterranean climate, altitude and cooling breezes. As part of Arianna’s Contrada collection, Pettineo is crafted to reveal the unique personality of a specific vineyard site, following the Burgundian idea of allowing individual parcels to express their own identity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eMade from 100% Frappato, Contrada Pettineo 2020 offers a more structured and mineral interpretation of this elegant Sicilian grape, combining Frappato’s natural aromatic finesse with greater depth and complexity.
