Named after the signature spice blend of South Africa, this huge wine is made from classic Rhône varieties (41% Syrah/Shiraz, 17% Carignano/Carignan, 15% Mourvèdre, 10% Petite Sirah , 10% Grenache/Garnacha and 7% Tannat). The blend changes every year to incorporate the best grapes from the Swartland vintage.
The wine is deep ruby red in colour. Aromas of clove and subtle white pepper are followed by plum with hints of elegant spice. A luscious and rich palate is followed by smooth, integrated oak and well balanced tannins.
