Kaikenes are wild geese (you knew that ornithology fans), native to Patagonia, that fly across the Andes between Chile and Argentina. In the same way, legendary Chilean winemaker Aurelio Montes crossed the Andes to make wines in Mendoza.
Sourced from estate vineyards in Vista Flores and Agrelo in Mendoza, Petit Verdot adds structure and Bonarda fresh fruit character to this charming, silky Malbec blend. Deep purple in colour, this wine has well-defined aromas of raspberries, plums and blackberries along with herbal nuances. The palate displays the silky tannins of Malbec framed by the structure and freshness of Petit Verdot and culminates in a lingering finish.
